What is the SUPERFLY Steering Nozzle Extension?
The SUPERFLY Steering Nozzle Extension is a custom-made aftermarket part designed to fit onto the OEM Yamaha steering nozzle of selected models. It extends the nozzle length to improve steering response and change the handling feel of the ski.
What does the extension change on the water?
The extension changes the steering feel by altering the nozzle length. Depending on the size you choose, the ski can feel more responsive, sharper, or more aggressive in turns. It lets riders choose a handling style that better suits their riding preference.
What sizes are available?
The extension is currently available in 3 sizes:
- +20mm for a mild and balanced handling upgrade
- +30mm for a more noticeable and responsive steering feel
- +50mm for a sharper and more aggressive handling feel
Which size should I choose?
If you want a subtle improvement while keeping a familiar feel, the +20mm is a good option.
If you want a more noticeable change in steering response, the +30mm is a strong all-round choice.
If you want a sharper and more aggressive steering feel, the +50mm is the most extreme option.
Which models does it fit?
The SUPERFLY Steering Nozzle Extension fits:
- Yamaha SuperJet round nose 2-stroke models from 1997 to 2020
- Yamaha WaveRaider
- Yamaha Blaster
These models share the same OEM Yamaha pump family and nozzle fitment.
A version for the 2021+ Yamaha SuperJet 4-stroke is coming soon.
Does it fit square nose SuperJet models?
It has not been tested on Yamaha SuperJet square nose models, so fitment cannot be confirmed at this stage.
Does it fit aftermarket nozzles?
No. The extension is designed to fit OEM Yamaha nozzles only. It does not fit aftermarket nozzles.
Is it easy to install?
Yes. Installation is simple and quick:
- Push the extension onto the OEM nozzle by hand
- Fit the stainless steel clamp
- Tighten the clamp with a flat head screwdriver
- Check that everything is secure before riding
What tools do I need?
You only need a flat head screwdriver to tighten the clamp.
Is the clamp included?
Yes. A 100mm stainless steel clamp is included with the product.
Can I install it without the clamp?
Yes, it can be installed without the clamp for testing or swapping sizes, because the extension snaps onto the nozzle with a strong fit.
However, we recommend using the clamp during normal use to secure the extension properly. There is no need to overtighten it, just tighten it enough to hold the extension in place securely.
How does the extension stay in place?
The extension is designed to snap onto the OEM nozzle with a strong fit. The clamp adds extra security for riding.
What material is it made from?
The extension is made from ASA, a material chosen for its UV resistance and saltwater resistance, making it suitable for marine use.
How is it made?
The product is made using industrial-quality 3D printing.
Is this product made to order?
Yes. This product is made to order.
We do not hold large stock at this stage. Each unit is produced based on customer orders.
How long does production take?
Production time is usually 24 to 48 hours before shipping.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping time depends on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout. Delivery estimates are shown at checkout where available.
Do you ship in the UAE?
Yes, UAE shipping is available.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, international shipping is available.

Is this an official Yamaha product?
No. This is an aftermarket product developed independently for riders looking for a custom steering upgrade.
Will it make my ski faster?
No. This product is designed to affect steering response and handling feel, not engine power or top speed.
Is this product suitable for racing, freeride, or freestyle?
This product is intended for riders who want to change the steering feel of their ski. Suitability for racing, freeride, freestyle, or recreational use depends on the rider, ski setup, and personal preference.
Who is responsible for installation and use?
As with any aftermarket part, installation, setup, and use are the customer’s responsibility. Please make sure the product is installed correctly and checked regularly before riding.
