▶ What is the LUDJET Steering Nozzle Extension?

The LUDJET Steering Nozzle Extension is a custom-made aftermarket part designed to fit onto compatible OEM steering nozzles. It extends the nozzle length to improve steering response and change the handling feel of the ski.

▶ What does the extension change on the water?

The extension changes the steering feel by increasing the effective nozzle length. Depending on the size you choose, the ski can feel more responsive, sharper, or more aggressive in turns. It lets riders choose a handling style that better suits their riding preference.

▶ Which size should I choose?

If you want a noticeable change in steering response while keeping a natural feel, the +30mm is a strong all-round choice.

If you want a sharper and more aggressive steering feel, the +50mm is the most extreme option.

▶ What sizes are available?

The extension is currently available in 2 sizes:

  • +30mm for a noticeable and responsive steering feel
  • +50mm for a sharper and more aggressive handling feel
▶ Is this strong enough?

The part is designed for real riding use and has been tested on the water. It is made from ASA, a material selected for its UV resistance, saltwater resistance, and suitability for outdoor marine use.

As with any aftermarket part, it must be installed correctly, secured properly with the clamp, and inspected regularly before riding.

▶ Is this just a 3D printed part?

Yes, the part is made using industrial-quality 3D printing, but it is not a basic decorative print. It is a functional aftermarket part designed, tested, and produced for real use on the water.

3D printing allows small-batch production, fast development, and practical design improvements without the cost of traditional moulds or large production runs.

▶ What material is it made from?

The extension is made from ASA, a material chosen for its UV resistance and saltwater resistance, making it suitable for marine use.

▶ How is it made?

The product is made using industrial-quality 3D printing in small production runs.

▶ Does it fit square nose SuperJet models?

Yes. It has been tested on Yamaha SuperJet square nose models, and the fitment is the same as the round nose model when using the compatible OEM nozzle.

▶ Does it fit aftermarket nozzles?

No. The extension is designed to fit compatible OEM nozzles only. It does not fit aftermarket nozzles.

▶ Is it easy to install?

Yes. Installation is simple and quick:

  1. Push the extension onto the OEM nozzle by hand
  2. Fit the stainless steel clamp
  3. Tighten the clamp with a flat-head screwdriver
  4. Check that everything is secure before riding
▶ What tools do I need?

You only need a flat-head screwdriver to tighten the clamp.

▶ Is the clamp included?

Yes. A 100mm stainless steel clamp is included with the product.

▶ Can I install it without the clamp?

Yes, it can be installed without the clamp for testing or swapping sizes because the extension snaps onto the nozzle with a strong fit.

However, I recommend using the clamp during normal use to secure the extension properly. There is no need to overtighten it. Tighten it only enough to hold the extension securely in place.

▶ How does the extension stay in place?

The extension is designed to snap onto the OEM nozzle with a strong fit. The clamp adds extra security while riding.

▶ Is this legal for racing?

Competition legality depends on the race organisation, class, event, and current rulebook being used. Some classes allow steering nozzle changes or modifications, while others may be more restrictive.

If you plan to use the part in competition, please check the latest rules for your class and confirm with the race organiser before using it in an official event.

▶ Will it make my ski faster?

No. This product is designed to affect steering response and handling feel, not engine power or top speed.

▶ Is this product made to order?

Yes. This product is made to order.

I do not hold large stock at this stage. Each unit is produced based on customer orders.
